Hey everyone who’s been praying, caring and loving from a distance. I’ve Got a health update.
Today they took out a tube that had been sticking out of my lungs for a week to drain over 5 Litres of fluid - that’s an insane amount of liquid!
They’ve now drained most of the fluid but a recent X-ray shows there’s still a small amount still in my lungs, but it shouldn’t affect my breathing. The second photo shows how much fluid there was just after inserting the tube. Before that it was completely full.
The citology report (testing of fluid) didn’t show any cancer cells, but they’re waiting on the biopsy of the tissue to know for sure.
I’ll get those results on Friday and at the time they’ll also take an X-ray to see if fluid has started refilling my lungs.
Friday will show us more clearly whether or not I have cancer. They’re still pretty sure it’s cancer but that’s the situation at hand.
